Recently I received notice the servers hosting the site had crashed. Still in the process of rebuilding the site. It's long tedious work, but we're almost there. In the mean time enjoy what's available. Photo Gallery should be up and running soon along with Catering Menu and Sponsorship app.

Thank you for your patience during this time.

Well, lack of sleep, weak coffee, wind not making up it's mind on what direction it wanted to blow, all these things were well worth it.
We actually had not done as well as we hoped but, after being only our third official competition, I believe we have made great improvements in our processes, appearance, and overall the way we do things. We've all have cooked quality food but, bring in the factor of the elements, lack of sleep, alcohol (for some ) and the deadlines. This changes things, changes them more than you could know, unless you have actually done this. It's still fun, a stressful kind of fun but, fun none the less. I don't have the score sheets yet but, as soon as I receive it, it will be available on the score sheets link. We have made great improvement since we've started and I truly believe we'll continue this trend. Thanks to our family for being so supportive and thank you to the team, for being there.

We're taking a break from the competition untill Snake Saturday in March but, we're not taking a break from cooking by any means.
We hope to see all our friends and family once again for that event. You'll receive invitations as it comes closer to time, so check those emails! Until then have a great rest of the year and safe holidays.

From your friends @ Belly Bustin' Good.

Later on...

Good Morning Class

Hi-
My name is Nathan a.k.a. TheMadHatter a.k.a. KCMadHatter. It's been my online tag for quite a while now and it just sticks, I'm kinda random most of the time, you'll understand if I let you get to know me.
A lil bit about me? hmmmm well I'm into a lot of things really, I love my family first off, a wonderful supportive wife and three nut ball kids (must get it from their mother). I like to garden, BREW BEER, watch dirt track racing, fiddle around with websites, manipulate pictures in photoshop, truly enjoy cooking but, lately my wife has been doing that. I fold laundry real well but, I don't like to do it  . I prolly started cooking around the age of 10 or 11 don't remember. I do remember going and visiting my dad at the Pizza Cellar though when I was a lil guy (still am a lil guy I guess). The smells, the atmosphere and the taste is what sparked it i guess. I love trying things out and am pretty good at adding the right things to make dishes turn out (sometimes). It really wasn't until I met what was soon to be my father-in-law, that I wanted to learn how to smoke meats. He told me a few things and like all great teachers left me to my own. Trial and error I suppose hah. Let's just say I have made some awsome boot straps. After several trials and errors and years, I think I have this smoking thing down pretty good. I love it! Thank you V.J. :D . So now when ever there is a holiday, birthday, hangin out with friends, or someone just wants something smoked, I'm more than happy to raise my hand. You most likely couldn't tell unless you know me but, I really truly enjoy watching people eat what I've prepared, I enjoy seeing the empty plates more so than the compliments. So here I am today on a soon to be ranking BBQ team, having fun with friends and just enjoying what I do.
